Our Story

Hi! My name is Erin and thanks for stopping by! My quilt journey began in 2019 when I started making quilts for our two little girls. Their love for books and Mommy’s quilts inspired me to start our shop, Hexen Haus.

As a mommy, educator, and crafty quilter, it's priceless to see a child wrapped in a unique quilt, reading a story. Now these memories and interactive experiences can also be yours.

I recently published my first pattern, Cub Stamps. I’ve always had a passion for graphic design so you will find that my patterns are timeless, bold, and unique with a modern twist. This pattern is free for newsletter subscribers so sign up today while it lasts!

I’m excited to share my quilt craft with you!

Our Name

Our 1820s stone farmhouse lies in the foothills of Williams Township near Easton, Pennsylvania. Our name was inspired by the close historical landmark, Hexenkopf Rock, also known as "Witch's Head."

Historical records show that Ancient Native American tribes and eventually German settlers performed healing rituals known as '’powwows” at the rock. These rituals healed the sick by drawing out evil spirits and capturing them. Legend has it that some of these spirits roam the woods today.

This local historic landmark combined with my family’s love for Halloween inspired us to name our shop, Hexen Haus. Who doesn't love magic and mystery?!
